Chapter 9 – Settlement in the North 8th Grade Pages 252 – 281 in the Social Studies Text Book. You are to plan a Script about the Industrial Revolution in the US. The Script will be for different T.V. Channels. 1. On the Music Channel you will write and record a Factory Workers Song (Page 259) 2. On the News Channel you will record a segment about Transportation (Pages 256 – 260) 3. On the History Channel you will write a script about the events of the Industrial revolution. (Pages 254 – 256) 4. On the Interview Channel, you will write a script interviewing a person living in the city. (Pages 260 – 266) 5. On the Speech Channel, you will write a script for one of the following – Susan Anthony, Elizabeth Stanton, or Lucretia Mott. (Pages 267 – 273) Your presentation will also need to include an Anchor man or woman who will introduce the different channels. The information needs to include the important facts from the Social Studies Text book. Also included in your presentation will be a minimum of 5 visual aids.
