Flashcard Games for Reading and Phonics
	Tic-Tac-Toe : Put all the Flashcards face down on the floor. With a ruler say the following rhyme as you tap each card : Tic Tac Toe Here we go We we land I do not know. Whichever card you land on...you have to turn the card over and say the word. Have fun! Stepping Stones :   Fishing : Attach a paper clip to each flashcard. Make a small fishing rod using a ruler and string. At the end of the string attach a magnet. (easily bought at a Craft store) Lay all the Flashcards face down on the floor (with a paper clip on each) Using the 'fishing rod' try to pick up a card. each card you 'catch' you say the word. Magic Fan : Hold all the cards in one hand and fan them out, til they look like a fan. One person will hold the flashcards as a fan and say: Come see my Magic Fan, If you are.... (funny, handsome, clever...) you can. The other person chooses a card from the fan and says the word.
