Welcome to our Native American Project You will use your Social Studies Text Book or information from the Internet to make : A POSTER or a CULTURE BOX about life as a Native American. |

Students,You can show what you have learned by either making a Poster of the daily life of the Native American Indians, OR you can make a Culture Box with things in it to show how the Native Americans lived. You must include: 1. You need to include Name of the Native American Tribe you are researching. (Apache, Cheyenne etc.,) 2. You need to show how the Native Americans used natural resources to live. ( e.g. forests, lakes, etc.,) Use illustrations and Writing. 3. You need to show what shelter or housing they made. 4. You need to include food and animals the Native Americans used in daily life. 5. You need to show how the Native American Indians celebrated special times. (e.g. powwows, feather headdresses, dancing etc.,) Tips for making a Poster: You may use pictures, photos or drawings to show your information. Please include information that is typed or neatly written. Tips for making a Culture Box : You may make a scene showing how the Native Americans lived (include all of the above points). You can use paper, foam, straws, feathers etc., to make the box. DUE DATE : November, 18th |
