Learning Outcomes:	Students will write a Diary entry about being King / Queen for a Day.
Content	Students will write a Diary genre piece, dated and including details and description of daily events in the life of a King or Queen.
Strategies	The cartoon above is presented to the students. Brainstorm the benefits and disadvantages of being King / Queen of the World. Students plan a daily routine and write about their experiences as King / Queen of the World.
