Learning Outcome:	Students will be able to write a letter, using all the conventions required, eg. punctuation, greetings, formal letter formatting etc.,
Strategies:	After reading the cartoon above, the students explore the feelings expressed by Mudpie about being King of Comics. Plan a letter to Mudpie's subjects about Cartoonist Day, and the type of presents he would like to receive. Include reasons for your suggestions.
