Lesson Plan : Adjectives
Learning Outcome	Students will use descriptive words to express emotions and feelings.
Strategies	Students are introduced to the cartoon above. Particular focus is given to the expression on Mudpies' face in each section of the comic. In small groups, students brainstorm words to describe the look on Mudpies face during the soccer match. Students then use the expression words, to draw and write their own cartoon.
