What is it that makes Larry Taylor an excellent choice for the Internet Educator of the Month Award? His philosophy about learning tells it all:

"My philosophy on designing learning is that it needs to be:

fun, interesting, challenging, meaningful, significant; and

it also needs to:

- use what we know about the brain and how we learn

- be negotiated with the learner

- offer multiple pathways

- relate to the learner, their real life and the world at large

- build on the learner's interests

- allow for a variety of ways to demonstrate learning

- allow re-negotiation of potential outcomes; and

- be flexible enough to adapt to changing circumstances
