Who can register to play the Tournament of the Minds?

Each month, Teams of students or individual students register to participate in the Tournament. The Game is restricted to 50 players per month.

Registration for the August Competition is closed!

Sign up below for the September (Australia) Tournament.

After registering, the student will receive a confirmation email and the e-board marker for the game. This marker will represent the student on the Tournament Game board. Students may also use their school logo or choose a 'marker' from our Library.

Every Monday for the month of August(beginning August 1st) - a Question will be posted for the Tournament of the Minds players. The student/s will then have until Friday, 5pm PST (US) to submit their answer via email. (gigglepotz2002@yahoo.com)

How do I know if my answer was correct?

All answers are reviewed according to an assessment rubric and assigned points, according to the details and correct information gathered in the student's answer.

 Each Question can receive a maximum of 10 points = 10 places on the Board Game.

Students can view the Tournament Board to see their progress in the Game.

How long is each Tournament?

Each Tournament Theme continues for ONE month and the winner will be posted on the Game Board on the 28th of the month, 2003.

Students will be able to access the Tournament Game Board on a weekly basis to see their progress through the game.

Every Monday, the Question will be posted on the site, as well as emailed to the participants. Tournament players have until Friday, 5pm (PST - USA) to email us their answer.
