Below I have written some helpful questions your child might like to ask, before passing up any work for grading. These are common mistakes most students in 4^th grade have difficulty with.

You may like to hang it somewhere eg on the refrigerator or in his/her homework area, so it can be referred to often.

When you have completed a Report or piece of written work, ask yourself these questions:

1. Did I answer all questions in COMPLETE sentences?
   

2. Did I use a Dictionary to check my spelling words?
   
3. Did I put details and examples into my answers?
   
4. Did I use CAPITAL LETTERS to begin sentences?
   
5. Did I complete ALL the questions?
