The Pre-K students in Mrs DeLarge and Mrs. Ledet's class at Dr. M.L.King, Jr. Elementary School in New Orleans, decorated this beautiful picture of the slain civil rights leader. During their art center, each child glued colored rice, popcorn, colored pencil shavings and buttons on to a drawing of Dr. King. The following day, students traced their handprint and aided by their teachers, they cut out the prints and glued tthem around the picture. A picture is attached of their creative art work.
