Title of Bulletin Board : Don't get wrapped up with Drugs!

Description : This bulletin board was made for a contest that we had at our school. The

librarians asked all of the teachers to decorate their doors for Red Ribbon

Week. Red Ribbon Week is a time, in October, to celebrate saying, "NO to

Drugs!"

I decided to have my students make mummies out of craft sticks. My theme

was, "Don't Get Wrapped Up in Drugs." The kids glued the sticks

together. Painted them green. Wrapped them in yarn, and glued on wiggly

eyes. After they were finished, I decorated the door with a spider web and

placed the mummies on top of the web. The kids were very proud of their

door, and of the many compliments they received.
