US foils Australia's dream
For

gold-medal game against the United States in the Sydney 2000 Olympic
Games, hold the home-court advantage, and maybe, just maybe, if the
stars are right, pull
off the great upset of women's basketball. It all panned out
perfectly, except for one thing. The Australian home court turned
into the United States' advantage, and the US Women's team showed one
more time that they are indeed the
best in the world. |
