  Meet Olly

Olly (as in Olympic), is a kookaburra and he lives in  the tallest tree in Millennium Park.

His gregarious,  honest, enthusiastic, loyal and open-hearted

personality reflects the Olympic spirit of universal  friendship.

Maybe that's why he was chosen as the  custodian of the five rings,

 the symbol of the ethos

and history of the Olympic Games.

A bit on the cocky side, Olly doesn't mind mixing it with the athletes at times,

as what he lacks in patience, he more than makes up for with speed. Olly is a

  fact-finder and a communicator — some might say he's a bit of a gossip —

always flying around to find out the latest news, although he sometimes gets

things wrong. Syd and Millie still laugh about the time he told them about an

exciting new holiday resort for spiders called the World Wide Web! Olly is a

natural comedian who loves to play practical jokes, but what his friends love

most about him is that he can always laugh at himself.
