Dasher and the other reindeer were upset at the thought of a Christmas Eve flight without Rudolph!
Dasher decided to have a talk with Rudolph. Dasher said, " Rudolph you need to think of all the kids who would be heartbroken if they didn't receive their presents." Prancer added, "I have heard of a magical carrot at Mrs. Becvar's house in Oak Forest, Illinois that would give you lots of energy so you could guide the sleigh!" Rudolph couldn't resist and agreed to guide the sleigh.
Meanwhile, the kids at Ridge School were anxiously awaiting for the snow to come. On Christmas Eve, Rudolph joined Santa and the other reindeer and first guided the sleigh to the Becvar household. Santa went down the chimney and delivered all the gifts to the family. He saw the glowing magical carrot on a plate and grabbed it for Rudolph.
Rudolph ate the whole carrot in one bite and his nose was immediately shinning brighter than before! All of a sudden the first winter snowfall began. Santa and his reindeer went on their way while cheerfully chanting, "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!"
