Participate in the Around
the World Christmas Story 2006 by signing up at Gigglepotz.com (just $15.95 until Nov. 1st)
The Next Writing Project begins November 1st. 2006.
A story is started by a classroom
and then passed to another classroom to add to the story. A total of
7-10 Chapters are written, each by a different classroom in a
different part of the world.
RULES:
1.
Gigglepotz.com will send an email with the story so far and it is
expected that your class will have 3 days to return the email with
your section of the story completed.
2. Each section
of the story must be no longer than 200 words and must be spell
checked before submitted. It can be sent as text in the email or as a
Word document. Drawings, pictures may also be included as an
attachment if desired.
3. Each Chapter
will be posted at :
http://www.gigglepotz.com/aroundstory.htm
4. It is
important that the Time Line be adhered to, so each part of the story
can be passed onto the next classroom. If for some reason the date
assigned is not suitable, please contact Email us with questions
as soon as possible.
5. The Story
needs to be based on a Christmas Theme and must be suitable for
reading by children K-8, from different cultures, beliefs and ways of
life. However, it is expected that each school participating will
include something of their Christmas traditions etc., allowing others
to learn and become aware of people worldwide.
