December has been busy and exciting. Opening the first door of the advent calendar. Everybody has been busy writing cards and shopping for Christmas presents. Trees have been bought, when they got home everyone helped to decorate them with fairy lights, tinsel, baubles and finally an angel on the top. During the last days of the school term children all over the country have enjoyed performing their version of the nativity play which tells the story of the birth of Jesus.

It is Christmas Eve; children hang up their stockings and hope that Santa will visit on his sleigh, bringing them many presents.
